Unfolding The Harmony of Bliss

"Our spiritual well-being must guide us to experience the original pure and blissful nature of consciousness itself. Rediscovering this simple truth within ourselves, we ignite the hidden flame of the spiritual heart, nurturing compassion, joy and peace for all.Atman is the self or soul, the deeper essence of our being as pure consciousness, uniting us with all beings. The Atman is a Divine principle and our "true self" is the Divine power behind the manifestation of all time and space. Tantra reveres the Divine presence within us, honoring our deeper nature as sacred and immortal. The Goddess Shakti leads us in our journey through the outer world to the sanctity of the spiritual heart, the Atman’s silent abode.

The mystery of
Tantra rests in the beneficence of Nature and her all-pervasive energies. Tantra’s enigmatic mysticism reveals Nature’s potent powers through its sacred knowledge or Tantric Jnana. The Tantrika’s life is a great awakening to the reality of pure consciousness, where every moment a lotus blossoms in the gentle prayer of sweet divinity without feeling misplaced in its muddy waters. Our consciousness has a gentle way of filtering the truth in our lives. Pure consciousness takes us back to the source of divinity without any worldly trappings.

My life witnessed its own metamorphoses over the years, enriching my being and enhancing my experiences. One would drift into the silence of sadhana, using yogic practices to re-enforce one’s harmony or restructure old thought patterns, at times withdrawing into my own world of magic and wander in the Himalayas. With the Mother Goddess’s grace, my entire being sought reformation, turning the mind and body into a flower of delight, exuding its own inner fragrance. Through my experimental modes of Shakti sadhana, the Goddess integrated me back into the source of her own joyousness. My life became an offering at her lotus feet, unfolding her mystical flowering of grace and abundance."

Happiness and Positive Thinking

Quotes from Paramahansa Yogananda:

"You have the power to hurt yourself or benefit yourself. If you do not choose to be happy, no one else can make you happy. Do not blame God for that! And if we are happy, no one can make us unhappy....it is we who make life what it is."

"Do not make unhappiness a chronic habit, thereby affecting yourself and your associates. It is blessedness for yourself and others if you are happy.
If you possess happiness, you possess everything; to be happy is to be in tune with God. That power of happiness comes through Meditation."

Quote from Shiva Baba

"So karma is not just a metaphysical philosophy. It is real. Whatever you think becomes a reality in the invisible space-time complex of your soul and then this manifests in life after an appropriate lapse of time. That's why it is very, very important to be positive. We should have only positive thoughts. If there are negativ thoughts, we do not know what danger they may inflict upon us in this life and in the life to come, because the thought process is what creates karma.

How You Can Talk With God

"Though God hears all our prayers He does not always respond. Our situation is like that of a child who calls for his mother, but the mother does not think it necessary to come. She sends him a plaything to keep him quiet. But, when the child refuses to be comforted by anything except the mother's presence, she comes. If you want to know God, you must be like a naughty baby who cries till mother comes."

Bhuvaneshwari's Yantra

The Blind Master and his Disciple

Once upon a time, a young man decides to leave the comforts of his life in search of a higher truth. For years he had heard legends of a Blind Hermit Monk who lives high up in a mountain cave and had answers to all of life's questions.

After leaving a note for his family, the boy heads East in search of the Master. He passes through jungles overrun by Tigers, vast deserts with no water, and barely escapes a tribe of cannibal witches before arriving at the mountain where the Blind Master spends day and night in meditation.

After searching for days, the young man finally finds the cave that the Blind Master calls home. The boy walks in and quickly drops to ground placing his forehead on the feet of the Master - "I offer you my body, my speech, my mind. Please show me the way to Liberation."

The old master jumped to his feet with the agility and dexterity of a young boy and quickly proclaimed, "At last. After 200 years, I have been preserving the teachings of my lineage and now I have found a beneficiary! Quickly let us go. We will begin right away. The only rule is you are not to ask any questions. OK, lets go.”

The young man was so excited that he was accepted so easily, he agreed to the no question policy. And, down the mountain they walked - Blind Master in front leading the way. At the bottom of the mountain there was a group of young kids looking for trouble. They started mocking the old monk, which only made him laugh. They started throwing small rocks at him, but still he kept laughing. Finally the boldest of the kids blocked the Old Monk’s path and spit on him.

The monk, still laughing, says to the boy, "You surely must have a reason for creating negative action that will only come back to harm you. I am not your parent, so I have no reason to stop you from creating this karma, unless you ask me to."

The boys face turned red with anger at the wise words of the Monk. Before the boy can even cock his fist back to throw a punch, the Blind Monk had already swept the boys legs with his stick. As the boy was falling to ground, like a flash of lighting the Monk's right foot was impaled into the young boy’s groin. For a moment, it seemed to the on looking Disciple that the Monk’s foot was keeping this pre-pubescent boy in mid-air. "How cruel a punishment to such a young boy", the disciple thought, but restrained from asking questions. The boy dropped to the ground like brick. The Blind Master instructed the disciple to move on.

Evening came, and the Blind man led the Disciple to a very isolated house, far from the nearest town. "Perhaps we can spend the night here", said the Monk. They entered the house and were greeted by 2 young and very attractive women. Looking at the Master, the disciple thought, "Wow, for a blind man, he sure is interested in these women."

They are each given a room. The Master says to the Student, "Desire is poison that is also addictive. Even though it is slowly and painfully killing us, the more we try and quench it, the more we crave. Remember that and do not be tempted by the women here. This is good practice for you. Good night, kid."

The Disciple was lying in bed, unable to sleep, and wondering why this so called Great Master is staying in a brothel. He hears a faint sound coming through the wall. It was the sound of a bed shaking. The Young Man could not resist, he tiptoed to the next room where his master was staying and peered through a crack in the door. To his bewilderment, he saw his Blind Old Master fornicating with a young woman. Even more surprising was that two other women were on the same bed watching this bizarre act. Disgusted and losing faith in his teacher the boy return to his room and falls asleep.

The Disciple woke up to the poking of the Masters stick in his side. It was hours before dawn. The Young man thought, "How is this Old Man up so early after spending the night with 3 women!?"  He was beginning to think that enlightenment was not for him. He became nostalgic thinking of his Mother's cooking, the daily bickering with his brother, and all the young ladies of his hometown eager to be his wife. The Disciple decided to stick around this crazy old man for just one more day.

"A great Sage is in need of help. We must go there immediately!” said the Master.

They arrive at the house of the Great Scholar and Sage. The Master opens up his sachet and starts pulling out containers of various herbs, resins, strange colored rocks, and a mortar and pistol. He instructs the Disciple to mix certain herbs to cure the Sage of his affliction. "Be very very careful. If you mix any of these in the wrong proportion, the results will be devastating."

Nervously, the Young Man mixes the medicine according the Master's directions. The Master commands the Disciple to feed the medicine to the dying sage, and the young man complies. The boy was nervous, but confident as he had followed the Wise Master's guidance.

Suddenly the Sage's face turns bright red. He lets out a terrible scream that paralyzes the Young Man. The Sage stands up, starts running around in circles, and then finally collapses on the floor with a loud thud. Before the disciple could think, "Is he dead?" the Master said, "He's Dead!"

The Disciple felt every negative emotion at once - Anger, Guilt, Hatred, Fear. He asks the Master for an explanation and the Master said, "I told you no questions! Now go to sleep. We have a busy day tomorrow."

"But, but..."

"Don't make me beat you with my stick. Go to bed!"

The whole night the Young Man was preparing to leave the Master and return to his old life. He never realized how good he had it, and now he is ready to put aside his childhood dreams of becoming a Man of Wisdom, and follow the path that everyone else in his hometown follows.

The next morning the Master did not say a word to the Disciple. They arrived at a lake. The Master told the Disciple to take off his clothes and bathe in the lake. The Disciple was planning on parting ways once the Master spoke, so he says; “I’ve had it with this. I’ve had it with you. You’re not a Master. I’m leaving.”

The Master replied, “You killed someone last night. You must bath in the water to purify or else you will be haunted by that man’s spirit.”

The Young Man was furious. “I didn’t kill him. I was just following orders!” he thought. But, for some reason, he took off his clothes and descended into the lake.

The Young Man did not feel purified in the lake. In fact he felt anger, hatred and frustration so deep inside of him that he never even knew existed until now. “I’m not a murderer!”, he kept telling himself.

In a fit of anger, the boy darts out of the lake, and runs right to the Blind Man, without even noticing that his clothes were not where he left them. The Master was meditating peacefully when the Naked Maniac came running towards him.

“I need to know right now. Why did you kick that boy so hard? Because he insulted you! Couldn’t you just have just tripped him? Why did you kick him so hard? He might never have children now!”

The Master Responded, “I did not kick the boy in his “Precious Jewels”. My foot went to his perineum. That boy was causing much suffering on his parents and siblings. He would have grown up to be a tyrant. He would become a general in the Army and kill entire villages and rape their women. Now he will be in pain and walk funny for about a month. During that time he will hear the Buddha’s Dharma from a layman, and upon hearing it will instantly attain the First Stage of Enlightenment. He will take up the teachings, live a moral and religious life, and take on two main disciples who will spread the Buddha’s message of Wisdom and Loving-Kindness to the Four Directions of Space and Three Directions of Time.”

Surprised, but not satisfied with the Old Man, the Young Man then asks, “Well what about those whores? I saw you that night with three women and you claim to practice Sexual Control!”

The Master Replies, “The woman I was in union with is my wife. The other two women are my disciples. I was demonstrating to them the Secret Technique called “The Mixing of the Essences” which causes the Immortal Nectar to begin to flow into the Body and Mind.

Now tears started flowing from the young boy’s eyes. “Well, how about the Great Sage that you had me torture and kill?”

The Old Master giggled and said, “That Sage was my brother. He reached the 4th and highest stage of enlightenment and was ready to enter into Nirvana and non-physical existence, but there was one thing left unresolved. When we were younger, he blamed me for something he did, and it caused so much trouble to not just me, but my entire family. He apologized to me, and I accepted, but he never was able to shed the guilt for the harm he caused his younger brother. He was about to die anyway, the medicine you gave him allowed him to fully rid himself of any remaining attachment to this World of Suffering. Now he is a fully enlightened Buddha emanating Compassionate Bliss Waves to the entire universe.

Now the Young Man was relieved. He was not a murderer, but in fact facilitated a Buddha into reaching the highest stage of Nirvana. He took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief.

The Master started giggling. The Young Man became confused. The giggling grew louder and louder with more intensity. He thought the Great Master was about to collapse and asked, “Is everything OK?”

The Master, unable to speak words due to the laughter bubbling out of him, managed to point his fingers to behind the Young Man.

Fearing what he might see, the Naked Young Man, wipes away his tears and snot, and turns around to see what The Master was so amused by. Standing behind him, during his entire dramatic outburst were the two “whores” from the house they stayed at. Trying to hold back their own laugher they hand the Boy back his clothes.

“Come on” said the Master, “Two bird’s tied together have four wings, but cannot fly.”

Not knowing what that meant, or what else was in store for him The Young Disciple journeyed on behind the Blind Master.

The Sun is The Heart

Following the axiom "As above, so below. As within, so without", the entire outer (macro) universe, is represented in our body (micro). While in absorption meditation, the Great Rishis of the previous golden age, saw the Heart Chakra as the center of our Energy Body, as the Sun is the center of the Solar system.

The Heart Chakra is described as having Twelve Petals. There are many levels to read into why there are twelve petals. From a yoga perspective these represent 12 subtle energy channels or a place where 12 nerves meet (nerve plexus).

Astrology, which was discovered along side the Divinely Inspired Sciences of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Numerology, sees the number 12 as the stages of "The Path to Liberation" or the total expressions of the 4 elements. 4 elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) X 3 Modes of Activity (Cardinal, Fixed, or Transitional) = 12. Understanding of these 12 areas is a roadmap to happiness in Life. For those truly dedicated souls to Self-realization and Liberation, these 12 area are a "key" to mastery of the 4 Goals of Life (Righteous Living in Society, Sensual Pleasure, Wealth/Happiness, and Liberation). The 4 Goals of Life is a very vast topic in itself.

The ancient symbol for the Sun has a central point called the Bindu representing the Infinite Unmanifest All that ever was, is and will be (Shiva). Around it is a circle, considered a symbol of perfection which represents the The Manifest Universe in its entirety (Kali).

The circle is made of 12 areas of 30 degrees each making 360 total. The perfect integrity of the circle is directly dependent on the central point. Just as the central point can only be known relative to circle around it.

The Ancient Ones seeing the cosmos reflecting in all areas of reality, saw these 30 degree areas or "Houses" as various "States" or "Stages" of being. Below is a basic description of the houses.

No person will have completed their evolutionary process of moving from Animal Man (3rd / 4th Chakra) to Godly Man (4th / 5th Chakra) until they have successfully completed their Soul's Classroom of each area (School can be fun, remember that!)

Furthermore, I always emphasize to explore and ask for success in all 12 areas at once and not only a few. Many people say, first I need a job (6th house) so I can have money (11th house) so I can get a home (4th house) so I can get a spouse (7th house) so I can get kids (5th house) and so forth. This activity is known as Left-Brain Activity. It lacks a holistic view and hence, misses the bigger picture.

What is the bigger picture? It is that central point in the center of the circle. By learning to think big, we have an easier time to find the central point which is really our heart's greatest desire. This is not something that can be shown to us from outside, but must be discovered within oneself as that point is the center of the true self (not the ego-self). The true self is infinite and indescribable in words, but the best attempt made is Immortal Life, Perfect Perception, and Unending Bliss (not so bad!)

The Ancient Ones, by silencing their minds to incredible lengths were able to perceive of the subtle vibrations underlying, yet completely pervading creation. These vibrations known as Mantras hold secret energies capable of uplifting the destiny of those who use them with a sincere heart.  The Mantra to bring out the heart's desire and attract it to us without any outside effort is, "Kleem".

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Happy Soul Travels.

Holy Feet

Feet have different symbolic feeling depending on culture, but they are usually associated with the ugly, lower, or dirty sides of a person. In Thailand it is considered very disrespectful to walk over someone or even point your feet at them. Some people are even so disgusted by their own feet that they leave their shoes on all day, even in their own house.

From the Yoga perspective, a wise disciple keeps the feet of their Guru on their heads at all times. Yoga is process of integration and purification. Since the Guru is the Perfection of Yoga personified, surely his or her Feet would be of pristine purity. It can be taken so far that the feet on the Guru is indeed holier and more purified than the Crown or highest point of the disciple.

There is also esoteric meaning. The feet are ending point for all the subtle channels (nadis or meridians). The entire 3 dimensional map of the body can call be expressed 2 dimensionally in the soles of one's feet.

Hence, the Guru's feet will bestow the grace of their entire being upon us (if we are humble enough to accept)

The Buddha's feet are often depicted in art and show his perfected qualities.

WARNING: The Buddha was NOT a NAZI. The Swastika is a symbol of peace and evolution.

I remember when I was very young I used to love to just be in the living room with my Father as he would sit on his chair reading the newspaper. This mysterious man who seemed to know everything and was always lost in the newspaper. One day I noticed his feet on the floor and something told me to go over and touch it. Being so drawn into the newspaper, he didn't even notice I was playing with his feet, but his feet did. They moved all around trying to avoid my curious fingers. Finally, the sensation broke his concentration and he pulled his feet away and said, "Stop it." In that short moment of time between my discovering his feet and him pulling them away, I communicated directly with his feet.

Rumi Quotes

“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.”

“The way you make love is the way
God will be with you.”

“The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.”

“Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don't claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent.”

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

“I died a mineral, and became a plant. I died a plant and rose an animal. I died an animal and I was man. Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?”

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.”

Astrological Explanation of The Path

Aries starts where Pieces left off. The Yogi is in Deep Samadi (Meditative Absorption), but something powerful (the sound OM) passes through him and calls him away from this meditation and lets him know he will re-manifest into the material world once again for the sake of Dharma (Rightousness). Like a Ram, the soul is eager to charge into the unknown.

Taurus is the stage where the goal or mission of the journey ahead is revealed to the freshly awakened soul. The object of their desire is clear, but no action has been taken yet. Preparations are made for the Journey ahead. The swiftness of the Ram is now transformed into the patience and stamina of a Bull.

In Gemini, Subjectivity and Objectivity become polarized. In other words, this is the dawning of intelligence, which is the interplay of spirit and matter – the dance of dualism. This quicksilver-like intelligence will be necessary to complete the journey ahead, however it more than often leads the over-thinking soul seemingly off course into some intellectual web of illusion (Maya). Like oil and water, fire and ice, the Lovers are ever engaged in debate, unknowing that underlying their duality is unity.

As a result of the interactions of Spirit and Matter in Gemini, the journeying soul becomes frustrated by having to wait for the object of desire. These frustrations give birth to emotions in order to save time over-intellectualizing. This is the dawning of the idea of time and gives the journeying soul a sense of urgency to move on, but it can also cause it to delve deeper into the material comforts. The crab is never seen too far from the great Ocean Mother who it relies on for its every need.

Leo is like the Sun coming out on a cloudy day. The Soul is frustrated and seemingly doomed to repeat the constant emotional cycles like the waxing and waning of the moon. Suddenly the Solar force graces the soul and transforms it from an over-emotional, and reactionary force, to a heroic Lion-Man who knows no fear. The seemingly forgotten journey has been now reminded to the soul, and its time for the Crab to leave the comforts of the ocean and beach-life, and journey onward to the heart of the Jungle of Mystery. The journey is long and hard. Along the way, many obstacles stand in the way, but the Lion quickly pounces and destroys anything that gets in the way of its righteous cause.

On day Mother Earth incarnates as a deer and begs the Lion not to eat her. The Lion is moved by the deer’s beauty and innocence. This sudden, unexpected experience causes swift, but deep changes within the Lion which forever changes him. He discovers his pristine innocence within and desires nothing more, but to rid himself of the “harm” he has committed to others in the past, simply to feed his hunger. At this stage, Virgo, signified by a Virgin maiden holding fire (the secret powers of the universe) and grains (sustenance) in the other, the Law of Karma is imprinted into the very nature of the remorseful soul, forever changing its nature.

This realization causes the journeying soul to abandon its quest for the object of its desire, and instead chooses to perfect itself through service to others. The soul decides to do the opposite of every negative action it has committed in order to purify itself of negative transgressions. There is no room in Virgo for personal pleasure, which may come at a later time, but not until the pure nature has been discovered, and all violent acts against Mother Earth and her inhabitants have been undone.

However, sooner than expected, rewards of both spiritual and material nature arrive to the soul, due to virtuous deeds. The Devil is on one side of the courtroom telling the soul to cash in all its good deeds for personal gain. He offers all that Venus can provide: power, pleasures of the sense, popularity, and a really good position in the world. On the other hand, dressed in all white with a rainbow aura is God himself in whatever form he is imagined. You can say it’s the same soul from the future, who has chosen not to follow the Devil’s path. God is smiling and says, “I can’t promise you its going to be easy or even make sense to you, but I can promise you that I’ll be right there with you the whole time.”

If the soul chose the path of pleasure, offered by the Devil, the rest of the story will be very different. For now, we will follow the story of the soul who chooses the supremacy of spirit over matter and the faith that there is a spiritual hierarchy of enlightened beings guiding the course of the universe and humanity. Following the path of the light or spirit over the shadowy realm of matter, the soul finds itself blinded and no longer able to stay conscious. Something has transformed within itself, but now find itself in a very dark place. The first sense that returns to the soul is that of smell. The smell triggers something unpleasant inside. It’s blood! The soul now tastes blood. Soon it sees blood flowing like rivers. It realizes that it has just been sexually gratified and has eaten its partner. The horror of this realization disgusts the soul. Glancing in a pool of water ahead, the soul who at one point was basking in the greatness of heaven is now seeing its reflection as a demonic looking insect with a tail emerging from its rear that means death to creatures of any size. Guilt, a deep sense of regret, and disgrace are common to those souls brave enough to venture into the unknown depths of Scorpio. No, the soul did not choose the path of the evil. In fact if that path were chosen, it would have no idea of the bloodthirsty, self-gratifying EGO that must be defeated for the soul to return home with all its honor and glory.

While discarding fear, the tormented soul prays from its heart. This prayer is not the same prayer as in Taurus, where the soul prayed for nothing more than to achieve the object of desire from an outside source. The prayer of Sagittarius is the humble divination, where the soul asks for Divine Guidance and Protection from its own inner-demons – to be led to the path of Dharma (Righteousness), harmonize his personal song with the Universal Song, and transform it from the seeking of pleasure of the senses, to the blissful state of collaboration with the Divine Plan. The Scorpion’s tail becomes the strong body of a horse, while the torso, head and arms take the form of an honest looking man.

The enlightened soul, having transmuted his negative qualities into positive, is now completely consumed with finding its way back to its Divine Origin – its quest home has become the object of desire. Now in Capricorn, the mature soul learns to see the Mystical in the mundane and the Mundane in the mystical. The Humble soul, having passed the trials of facing its own lower-self bent only on self-preservation – rapidly aligns itself with the cosmic occult hierarchy. In other words the axiom “As above, so below – but after another manner” is vibrating constantly in the Third Eye of the quietly “listening” wise soul. “I am part of a system, which is part of a bigger system, which is part of a bigger system. What’s more, every higher-dimensional system is more and more elegant, orderly, and peaceful; as well as completely including the lower dimensions within it.” Thinks the Unicorn gazing into the distant galaxies through spiritual sight.

The Super-Soul is now completely in synch with Divine Intelligence, and its every thought, word and action are rituals harmonized and empowered with the word of God (The Logos), and perfectly executed to benefit all beings. Gazing down earthward, the super-soul has no concern for the strife and turmoil going on in the Earth-plane. At one time the soul mistook itself for its psycho-physical suit (Mind and Body). Now the soul is the Cosmic Potter as well as the Clay Chalice itself – following Divine Will, and crafting that which is ideas of the cosmic mind, into forms, and filling them with the waters of life.

The most beautiful pot has just broken. The life waters rush out and come pouring into the Primordial Ocean, which exists beyond the manifestation of Time, Space, and the Events that occur within the two. There is no fear of the pot being broken or the drops of water, returning to their source. The life waters of the soul are soon indistinguishable from the infinite cosmic water. However, upon closer examination, the soul now appears to resemble two fish. With no fear, and no desire to “be something”, the two fish swim for millennia requiring nothing that the Great Mother Ocean does not provide. Where there was just one, there is now two.

Yogini: The Enlightened Woman by Shambhavi Chopra

Excepts:

"A Yogini is one who is possessed of magical powers.''

"A true Yogini is an enlightened woman with exuberant passion, spiritual powers and deep insight. Yoginis communicate a sense of freedom, a sheer mastery in whatever they do.  With their compelling gazes, they can hypnotize even a great yogi and are capable of changing their shapes at will. Tantric scholars have written about Yoginis as independent, outspoken, forthright women with a gracefulness of spirit. Without them, yoga can fail in its purpose and remain sterile."

"The Yogini possesses the power of Yoga herself and can awaken that in others, not only generally but at any point or place in the body or mind. A man's ability to achieve the higher states of Yoga can be facilitated by his association with such a female companion who reflects this energy."

"Just as a Goddess blesses and benefits her devotees, and the Shakti vivifies all biological, cultural, and religious practices, so a woman can channel this life force or spiritual energy to her consort-devotee. A woman is no more depleted by providing this spiritual nourishment than a mother by nursing her child. In fact, it causes deeper energies to well up from within her."

"This spiritual energy is not something that a man can extract or take from a Yogini at will. She chooses when and on whom to bestow her blessings. Her ability to enhance a man's spiritual development depends upon her innate divinity as awakened and brought to fruition by her own yogic practices, which include envisioning herself in the forms of various Goddesses and investing herself with Their appearances and ornaments, tender and wrathful expressions, and supernatural powers for liberating beings. By conferring energy and grace upon a man - ''blessing '' or ''empowering'' him - she is not weakening herself but rather sharing her energy voluntarily with one who has won her favour by meeting the various requirements that she may impose."

"The Goddess is a great Yogini, devoted to Shiva, yet matching His powers. She is the embodiment of pure energy, the Mother and matrix of all manifestation, the source of all time, space and creation. As they practiced Yoga together, Shakti accepted Shiva as her Guru, and he taught her the ways of transcendent being to guide her to her ultimate liberation. Shiva in turn also accepted Shakti as his Guru, and she initiated him into his ultimate liberation through putting him in touch with the supreme power of consciousness."

"Yet Divine love is not limited to the ascetic. In my understanding of Tantra, if two spiritually evolved beings come together in unconditional love, they also can create an energy field that is most positive and rare, exuding high vibrational levels of peace and love into the universe."

"Tantric teachings stress the importance of physical beauty in a companion but only to initially stimulate and then elevate passion from the sensual to the spiritual plane. The beauty of the soul surpasses physical beauty."

"The ‘initiatory’ power of woman is tremendous, providing the force of passion that is necessary for developing experiential mysticism. By sharing the secrets of love, a woman can bestow transcendental power on her lover. The highest form of Shakti is the direct expression of the wisdom-energy she releases, creating a joyful transformation. A woman can initiate her partner into such mystical experiences through trust, surrender to higher ideals and spontaneity. It is the Goddess within each woman who really initiates."

"To be a Yogini is the highest spiritual goal for all women. It is the way to become one with the Goddess within and to bring her out in expression to uplift the world that is really her creation. Yet it is not an outer appearance but a state of inner energy and ecstasy that makes the Yogini. She cannot be manipulated, defined or even ever entirely known."

Happy New Year

Yes. I did say "Happy New Year" and it is April 14th. According the ancient Siddhi Masters, the year begins when the Sun enters Aries. The Sun is most powerful at this point (exalted) and gives success and prosperity to everyone (in the Northern Hemisphere).

OK, so now some Astrologers might be saying, "Doesn't the Sun go into Aries on March 21st?"
Well, in Vedic or Indian Astrology there is a 21 degree difference due to the precession of the equinox.  For more on Precession read this

Anyway, what does Sun moving into Aries mean?
Did you ever have a million great ideas, but for whatever reason you cannot execute them?
When the Sun is in Aries, whatever we WILL to do, will come into fruition quickly and with little effort. (Both good action and bad actions will fructify, so please use wisdom and discrimination).

Please leave any questions or comments.

To a new Enlightened New Year filled with Bliss, Prosperity, and the Cessation of suffering for all.

Here is a video from Shiva Baba talking about the New Year, and chanting the Gayatri Mantra.

Sun and Moon

Created by the Sun,
Raised by the Moon,
One is to speak - the other to listen,
One is to touch - the other to be touched,
One is to lead - the other to follow,
One is to give - the other to receive,
One is to cause - the other to be caused,
Who can bring us to ourselves?
Who can take us out of it?

Hymns to The Planets

Saturn

You say you want happiness,
but do you know what it is?
suffering is the path!
To get what we really want.

Just below the surface, just behind the mask, distorted by emotion,
lies its essence - innocent clean, tasteful,
the great ocean of life knows no past nor future, north nor south,
the river rushes to the sea, rises above into the sky, and rains down for you and me,
in all its vastness it knows all, but not Good and Evil,
just honey-bliss

Mars

"Only the flame can melt away the gross and release the spirit from its bondage",
Like a candle - this understanding is an attribute of the wise,
"The gross matterial is the potential of the flame ; hence there is no bondage only fuel",
Like a star - this understanding is an attribute of the rare souls who go to great lengths to defeat the ego.

Venus

Love is a flower, a fragrant one that is,
It is what brings all things into existence,
Can't you see that every movement in the universe is motivated by love,
If you can for even a moment, what do you need to think about?

Mercury

Balance is the key, you see,
Its easy as 1-2-3,
We'd all live so happily,
See "Me" in "You" and "You" in "Me"

Sun and Moon

What is light without a mirror,
What is space without stars,
Every story must begin and end,
A wise author writes the ending first.

The Beyond

Just beyond the mind there is a place,
Silent, Motionless, Free - mere words to reflect its mystery,
Seamlessly united - Spirit and Matter - desire there is none,
Why would anyone want to leave?,
Is there anything greater?
